As a part of the Apollo 16 mission, Auburn Alum and Astronaut Ken Mattingly flew 10 specially designed Auburn flags to the moon. One of the flags was left on the moon to represent Auburn University. The flag was designed by former Associate Professor of Art at Auburn, Tazewell Morton. This shirt features the flag that was only produced one time, as well as a quote from Ken Mattingly when he presented one of the flags to Auburn University following the Apollo 16 mission. Anvil pigment dyed 100% preshrunk cotton. Wash in cold water.
