Coach Gene Chizik made his final stop of the Auburn Alumni Association’s 2010 Tiger Trek in Birmingham on Friday, July 23rd. The Greater Birmingham Auburn Club and a crowd of Auburn supporters welcomed Coach Chizik along with Auburn Baseball coach, John Pawlowski to the Cahaba Grand Conference Center.

Coach Gene Chizik made his second trip to Cullman as part of the Auburn Alumni Association’s 2010 Tiger Trek on Thursday, June 10th. Approximately 700 Auburn supporters gathered at the Cullman Civic Center to welcome Chizik to town and support scholarship opportunities for local students.

The West Georgia Auburn Club welcomed guests from Auburn University to the 4th Annual Charles D. Hudson Scholarship luncheon at Hills and Dales Estate on Monday, May 10th. Guests included Auburn University President Dr. Jay Gogue, Auburn Defensive Line Coach Tracy Rocker, who also won the Outland and Lombardi Trophies as a letterman for Auburn in the 1980s, assistant vice president of Alumni Affairs LoriAnn Summers and AU Director of Development, Dr. Wes Williams.
The Charles D. Hudson Scholarship is for students attending Auburn from the West Georgia area including Troup, Meriwether or Harris counties. Every dollar contributed to the Charles D. Hudson Scholarship is matched by the Callaway Foundation up to $100,000 per year for 5 years. For more information, log on to www.westgaauclub.com.
