  1. Tennessee on the Plains

September 29, 2008 by Jason Harbison

The Auburn Tigers played host to the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday.  Fans of both schools stopped by Tiger Rags on Magnolia Avenue as well as the original location of Tiger Rags on Gay Street.  Lots of Tiger and Volunteer fans posed with our Tiger “Rags” for a quick picture outside the Magnolia location.

University students requested for fans to wear blue instead of orange on Saturday and “Make the Orange, Blue”.  It’s not too late to get your special “Go Big Blue” t-shirt  from TigerRags.com.

Be sure to stop by and see us at the Arkansas, UT-Martin and Georgia games this season.

September 23, 2008 by Jason Harbison

The 3rd weekend in September was a busy weekend in downtown Auburn.  Fans from Auburn and LSU began filing in mid-week, excited about the newly dubbed “Tiger Bowl” in Jordan-Hare on Saturday night.  Our Auburn Tigers fell just short of knocking off the defending national champions 26-21.

It was a busy day at Tiger Rags with lots of fans stopping by both stores.  Look for your picture outside on the patio of our Magnolia Avenue location.

  3. ESPN on Campus

    by Jason Harbison

ESPN’s College GameDay was on campus for the Auburn-LSU game on Saturday, September 20th.  The popular pregame show setup east of the stadium on the Allison Physics Lab lawn (former site of the Auburn Alumni Tent).  Auburn fans began showing up at 4:00 am to get a great spot to see host Chris Fowler along with commentators Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard.  Some fans lined the parking deck to get a better view of the festivities.

We walked over to get a few pictures of the ESPN GameDay setup on campus.  Take a look at our gallery.
