Tiger Rags has partnered with the Auburn Alumni Association and Sign World in Auburn to help make our support known as the Auburn Tigers prepared to play top ranked Alabama over the past two weeks. We provided two banners for supporters to sign that have been hanging in the team locker room since Monday. Fans have been signing a third banner in Tiger Rags this week and it was presented to Coach Tuberville this morning.
Hundreds of fans have purchased “We Believe - Beat Bama” yard signs and personal banners to bring the “We Believe” attitude home to their neighborhoods and living rooms.
As the team buses made their way towards Tuscaloosa, a few Tiger Rags employees and friends braved cool, rainy conditions to show our support one more time. We held a special banner (5′ tall by 30′ wide) along side interstate 85 south at the Wire Road rest area as the buses passed by. The banner drew horn blows, shouts and other reactions (from one less than amused Bama fan). The same banner spent the week hanging in Jordan-Hare Stadium as the Tigers finished preparations for the 2008 Iron Bowl.
The time has come to stop the talk and play the game. You’ve shown tremendous support to the team and coaches this week and that support has not gone unnoticed. Enjoy the game tomorrow and we’ll see you at Toomer’s Corner!
